Super Lucky Frog Review
Super Lucky Frog is one of the older Net Entertainment slot games which is still available to play. It takes a bit of hunting to find a casino which still lists this particular game, but the Casino Gorilla did some detective work and tracked it down.
This slot game asks you to find enough of those fortunate froggies to capture one of the three big jackpots on offer.
A lot of time has passed since NetEnt released this game, and it is starting to show its age a little bit but those jackpots still remain tempting enough for hard-core slot gamers to keep hopping back to this game.

The cute animals featuring in this game will draw you in, although as this is an older game you may find the graphics a little bit dated. Time moves quickly in the world of online slot gaming!
This is a standard NetEnt title with the typical 5×3 layout that we expect from this gaming provider. The main attraction about this game is the three jackpot prizes on offer from the bonus game.
There is also a free spins round which is always a winner with slot gaming fans. On the negative side this game is certainly showing its age, and it is going to be quite difficult to locate this one in the majority of NetEnt casinos.
How to Play
Start by selecting your coin value of between 1 and 50 cents. Next you select your bet level from one to four. The maximum bet is a healthy €50, with a minimum bet of 25 cents assuming that you choose to play all 25 paylines.
This game was released in 2007 so you can expect to see the older NetEnt format familiar to players of games like the original Bloodsuckers.
That means that you can spin manually or choose the autoplay option of up to 1,000 spins by clicking the Auto button at the bottom of the screen. You will also have the option to take a look at a preview of the bonus game so that you can see what to expect.
In a gaming world where the latest slots boast incredible visual and audio effects, there is non hiding from the fact that Super Lucky Frog looks pretty dated.
Against a backdrop of a forest at dusk, the graphics here look pretty basic. There are eight symbols in the base game, namely: snail, butterfly, mushroom, ladybird, squirrel, griffin, troll and unicorn.
As you can see, the more fantastical creatures are the ones with higher coin values. Besides these cutesy critters there is also a wild symbol in the form of an elf wielding a bow and arrow which can substitute for any of those base game symbols.
So far, so ordinary. The Casino Gorilla is not exactly wowed by the visual appeal of this game. Luckily, the special features manage to raise this slot game to a higher level. The first special symbol to look out for is the fairy Scatter symbol.
Finding at least two of these anywhere on the reels will give you a cash win. More importantly, finding three or more gets you some free spins.
There are ten free spins for 3 scatters, twenty for 4 scatters and if you find 5 of them you will get a delightful 30 free spins plus 400 times your bet in cash.
Super Lucky Frog features not one, but two distinct bonus games. From the name of this slot you will have been wondering where this lucky frog appears, and in fact this is the symbol for the bonus game.
This is no ordinary frog, as you will be able to tell from the crown he wears, not to mention the wings. Three or more frogs must show up to form a winning line before the bonus game is triggered.
You will then be taken to a new screen with a wheel of fortune with 12 different segments. Four of these segments represent coin values, and you can see the values changing all the time on the top right of your screen.
The remaining segments earn you one of the three jackpots: Froggy, Lucky and Super. There is only one ‘Super’ jackpot segment as this is the biggest prize, with three Lucky segments and four Froggy ones offering the lowest prize.
If you manage to hit the Super Jackpot then you can expect to win a prize of thousands of euros.
If you took the bonus features away from Super Lucky Frog then you would be left with a game that quite simply would be offline by now. The graphics are very old-fashioned and the sound effects of chirping frogs don’t add much to the game either.
Fortunately, there are those two bonus features to keep things lively. The Casino Gorilla loves a good bonus feature and the two on offer here are pretty tasty.
Not one of NetEnt’s greatest games, but when the bonuses kick in this froggy game jumps up to a higher level.
